  1. Follow these steps to pair a Beats Pill XL with the iPhone 3G. First turn on the Beats Pill XL by pressing and releasing the power button, then press and hold the round 'b' for three seconds until the button blinks. This indicates that the Beats Pill 2 is in pairing mode and ready to connect to the iPhone 3G.
  2. On the home screen of the iPhone select the Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and turn on the Bluetooth option.
  3. Underneath select Beats Pill XL from the list of nearby devices to connect to the iPhone, it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.

  2. Turn the Beats Pill XL round so the back is facing you ensuring the power is switched off.
  3. Access the IN port by pulling out then rotating the rubber cover to the left of the 'beats pill xl' logo. The IN port is located between the charging port and OUT ports.
