  1. Follow these steps to pair a Beats Pill 2 with any mobile phone. First you need to turn on the Beats Pill 2.0 by pressing and releasing the power button, hold the round 'b' logo for three seconds until the light flashes. This indicates that the Bluetooth speaker is in pairing mode.
  2. These instructions assume your phone is able to stream music using Bluetooth. As all mobile phones are different please visit the Mobile phones page to see if your specific make and model is listed first. If the mobile phone is not on the list but supports Bluetooth A2DP streaming then select the settings or options page on the phone, look for the Bluetooth menu and turn on the Bluetooth option.
  3. Select the Beats Pill 2 from the list of nearby bluetooth devices to connect to the phone.
  4. You can now play music on a Beats Pill 2 wirelessly from any mobile phone. When the Beats Pill speaker has been paired the round 'b' button will stop flashing and glow. In the future you can turn on the Beats Pill speaker and it will automatically connect to the mobile phone without needing to pair again, just turn both devices on and wait for the round 'b' button to glow.   1. These instructions show you how to hook up any mobile phone to a Beats Pill 2 using a cable to play audio.
  2. Locate the headphone socket on your mobile phone. It is a small round socket on your phone which is 3.5mm wide, you may need to refer to your phone's instruction manual to find this. It is sometimes referred to as a headphone jack, 3.5mm jack or 3.5mm phone connector [3].
  3. Make sure the speaker is turned off then locate the IN port located at the rear of the speaker between the OUT port and the power button.
  4. Connect the headphone socket on the mobile phone to the IN on the Beats Pill 2 port using a 3.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm stereo male cable [4].
  5. Any audio being played on the mobile phone should stop playing on the phone speaker and will play on a Beats Pill 2 instead.
