  1. Follow these steps to pair a Beats Pill 2 with the iPad Mini 4. First you need to turn on the Beats Pill 2.0 by pressing and releasing the power button, then press the 'b' logo for 3 seconds until the button flashes. This indicates that the Beats Pill speaker is in pairing mode.
  2. From the home screen on the phone choose the Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and turn the Bluetooth option on.
  3. Underneath select Beats Pill 2 from the list of nearby devices to connect to the iPad, shortly afterwards it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.
  4. You can now play music on a Beats Pill 2 wirelessly from the iPad Mini 4. Tapping on the AirPlay icon in any iOS application on the tablet that can play audio will bring up a list of devices where you’ll be able to toggle between the headphones, loudspeaker and a Beats Pill 2.
